kl city council collaboration
During the Covid-19 pandemic, we extended support to the homeless transit centre, ensuring ample provisions during the movement control order (MCO).
Working with the Kuala Lumpur City Council (DBKL), the foundation was one of the 16 NGOs handling food distribution in community halls where homeless individuals found shelter. We supplied essential items like mattresses, pillows, and covers to support the homeless population’s well-being during the pandemic.
Additionally, the foundation provided daily mid-day meals at Ampang Hilir multipurpose hall, aligning with DBKL’s schedule to optimize efficiency and avoid wastage. We are always committed to supporting DBKL’s efforts, reducing the risk of transmission among the homeless and ensuring the safety and well-being of all Malaysians.
